Sept 30, 2022 - Port Colborne community resident, Ines Mundt, spent that last few months sewing over 25 hand-made quilts and donated them to the residents at Lakeside Terrace SupportiveLiving Residence in Port Colborne today.

She also donated handmade masks to the Humberstone Manor and Lakeside Terrace facilities back in March of 2020 when the COVID pandemic first began.

Both SL Director Shama Chaudhry and Mrs. Mundt distributed the colourful quilts to a few residents who came out to thank her personally.

Resident Roman M remarked, “Thank you so much for your graciousness. This donation is a beautiful gesture.”

“We receive a lot of support from our community stakeholders and Ines is one member of the community who recognizes the work we do by providing housing for our vulnerable population. Her quilts put a smile on our residents’ faces and this show of compassion goes a very long way for our residents well-being.” commented Ms. Chaudhry.

On behalf of the SupportiveLiving.ca team and all of the Lakeside Terrace residents, we thank Mrs. Mundt for her generous donation!

Be well and stay well!
