December 13, 2025 - On December 13, our residents at Lakeside Terrace were reminded just how powerful kindness and community can be.
We were honoured to welcome Wainfleet Church, who joined us to share a heartfelt Christmas dinner and thoughtfully prepared gift bags for every resident, filled with essential toiletries and daily necessities. The joy in the room was unmistakable—warm smiles, shared conversations, and a deep sense of belonging filled the space.
This generosity is not a one-time gesture. Every Easter and Christmas, under the compassionate leadership of Heather Osborne, Wainfleet Church and its dedicated volunteers show up—consistently and with intention—to remind our residents that they are seen, valued, and included as part of the greater Port Colborne community.
In a time when stable housing is increasingly scarce, and too many individuals feel forgotten, Heather and her volunteers never forget our residents at Lakeside Terrace. They recognize what truly matters:
our residents are people, neighbours, and members of this community.
