June 20, 2026 - Heather Osbourne and her wonderful team from Wainfleet Church visited Lakeside Terrace in Port Colborne for their annual summer BBQ, bringing warmth, kindness, and community spirit to our residents.
SupportiveLiving.ca residents were treated to a beautiful afternoon filled with hamburgers, hotdogs, salad, soft drinks, and delicious treats. More importantly, they were surrounded by friendly faces, thoughtful conversation, and the joy that comes from knowing they are remembered and valued.
We are truly grateful for Heather’s unwavering support of SupportiveLiving.ca and the residents we serve. Throughout the year, Heather and the Wainfleet Church team continue to show up with compassion, generosity, and a genuine desire to make a difference.
For our residents, these events mean so much. They are not only about food or celebration; they are about connection, dignity, belonging, and moments of happiness that brighten the day.
It does not have to be a special occasion to spread cheer. Sometimes, the most meaningful acts of kindness are the ones that simply remind people they are cared for.
