September 8, 2022 – SupportiveLiving.ca is proud to partner with Fort Erie Native Cultural Center (FENFC) in our efforts toward providing support for indigenous communities across Ontario.
FENFC provides early education, healthy living programming and value covering all 4 areas of health (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual) for participants to succeed in their community.
FENFC focus and goals have remained the same which is “To Enhance all Aspects of Native Life While Extending Friendship to the Community.”. With their values of Tradition, Friendship, Respect, Professionalism, Compassion, Integrity and Honesty, they help the indigenous community to not only heal but to allow its members to prosper, becoming the persons who they were meant to be.
SupportiveLiving.ca shares in these values and welcomes the opportunity with FENFC in areas of supportive housing and working on developing programs that will address cultural needs of the indigenous community in the Niagara Region.
SupportiveLiving.ca Director of Communications, Shama Chaudhry was pleased to present a $500 donation to FENFC Director of Marketing, Riley Zimak. Mr Zimak has indicated that the funds will go towards groceries for their food bank to be accessed by families in the community.
