SupportiveLiving.ca is proud to announce that they are the recipient of a National Enablement Award. Canadian over 50’s Housing Awards bestowed the honour upon SupportiveLiving.ca in a ceremony that took place in Mississauga, Ontario on Dec 10, 2019.

SupportiveLiving.ca's management team from left to right: Shama Chaudhry, (Director of Communications), Cynthia Lamb (Regional Supervisor), Jacqueline Honeysett (Director of Finance and Operations), Vishal Chityal (CEO, President and Founder).

SupportiveLiving.ca was named "The Most Outstanding Supportive Services Management Team in Canada."

The award was proudly accepted by our CEO, President and Founder, Vishal Chityal. He began his acceptance speech by reflecting on the company’s humblest beginnings back in November 2006, when he started a housing project in Welland, Ontario with only 4 residents who were deemed ‘unhousable’.

His dream was to provide safe and affordable housing by bridging the gap and not allowing the homeless to fall through the cracks of our health care system. 14 years later, SupportiveLiving.ca runs its housing first model to communities across Ontario, serving hundreds of our province’s most vulnerable.

With well-managed executors at its helm, SupportiveLiving.ca continues its commitment to provide the best quality housing to the vulnerable population in communities across Ontario.

Thank you to Canadian over 50s Housing Magazine for the honour presented to us and we would like to extend our heartiest congratulations to the other nominees for the difference they make each and every day.

Lastly, we would like to thank everyone in the community who has supported us over the years. Here’s to another 14 years!
