June 15, 2020 - Earlier this month, we were able to open up a limited scope of admissions to help alleviate the strain that the mental health hospital systems were experiencing.
Today, we are pleased to announce that we are broadening the scope of new admissions to SL homes to select regions in Ontario.
Admissions will now be open to individuals coming from hospitals, shelters, and independent living settings. Unfortunately at this time, we are still unable to accept admissions or transfers from other congregate care settings.
As with previous admissions, we will be admitting clients on an individualized risk basis and in adherence with our COVID-19 policies.
